There is so much happening behind the scenes of Society of Petroleum Engineers Leeds Chapter to ensure our members receive the most quality, reliable service possible. To bring our work process to light, below we have outlined the key events we are hoping to organize (funding permitting) for the academic year 2019/20.

We are hoping to attend few conferences across the UK and to organize a couple of Guest Talks between December 2019 and February 2020.

PETROBOWL

April 2020

Competition contraposes SPE student chapter teams against each other in a series of quick-fire rounds, answering technical and nontechnical industry-related questions. 

​

In April 2019 SPE Leeds Team managed to finish the European Regional PetroBowl Qualifications at 4th place, narrowly missing on the chance to perform in the competition's Final in Calgary, Canada in September 2019.
