The beginning is always the hardest...

Hello!

I'm very happy that you have visited the new SPE Leeds website! I do hope that you will like the layout and that you will be able to find the information you are looking for.

But let us start from the beginning...Since being elected as a new President of the SPE Leeds, me and my committee decided that we have to put a lot of effort to invigorate the members and to make the society a fun and attractive place to be!!!

We have a lot of ideas and we have come up with the events plan for the 2018/19 academic year (see Events tab). I cannot guarantee that this will work and materialize, as to do so we need funding.... but I can promise that me and my committee will do all we can to find sponsors, secure the funding and to make it happen!

This blog is intended to keep everyone interested informed in the society's current affairs and to share our successes (and I do hope that we will not have too many failures to report either!)

So... as a committee, we have embarked ourselves on a fascinating journey and I do hope that our members and the wide public will find it interesting too.
