Hello everybody!

We hope that your 1st April has started in a wonderful way and friends have not pulled an amusing prank on you!

On a more serious note, just a while ago our chapter was presented with an opportunity to visit our friends from SPE Imperial College London and join them in their organised SPE Student Chapters International Forum in London.

Networking has always been valued highly among all SPE Student chapters, what often leads to life-long contacts, invaluable experience and amazing memories. Bearing this is in mind, opportunities such as this one are of high importance to us and we would like to take our time to express immense gratitude to SPE Imperial College London student chapter for organising and to University of Manchester and Gubkin University for joining in a such dazzling event.

Hearing from the skilled and passionate petroleum engineer Mike Ward about his journey in the Oil&Gas industry as well as taking his advice on how to succeed in this enormous and challenging industry, picking up the knowledge about geodynamics from professor Olivier Dubrule and becoming familiar with study programmes in Imperial College, Gubkin University, and University of Manchester, but mostly importantly networking with other petroleum engineering students created an amazing long-lasting memories.

We hope to repeat something like this.

Wishing all the best,

SPE Leeds Student Chapter

P.S Be careful for the rest of the day so that nobody cracks a joke on you!!!
